This question is regarding Mira Excel/Select Thermostatic Cartridge - 903.33

Cartridge replacement 903.3 mira excel shower fitted 1995

Do you need to turn off rising main Cold feed and the hot water feed valve When fitting new cartridge? Does the new cartridge come with Spare seats of seals.? Roughly how long to fit new device?

Hi Mark,

Yes the H&C supplies will need to be isolated to fit a new cartridge assembly.

The cartridge is supplied with seals on the cartridge, A new temperature trim ring , lubricante for the inlet seals and a red key for changing the cartridge from LP to HP if you have a combi.

The LP & HP setting can be found on the rear of the new cartridge. The cartridge comes factory set to LP.
