This question is regarding Mira Excel/Select Thermostatic Cartridge - 903.33

Excel cartridge leak

My new cartridge I fitted for my excel is leaking slightly from in between the cartridge & the brass back plate. I silicone greased the washers & the screws are tight. Is there any sealant I can use cheers ?

Unusual for them to leak check that the two letterbox shaped washers are in place and more importantly that there is only one in each groove, they can be difficult to see and on occasions two seals an get into the same groove.
