I recently have bathroom repaired and mira excel worked superbly prior to that. once re-installed cold water does not come through. I took the cartridge out and had a look for blocks. Under a tap water does not flow through the cold water filter even through it does not look blocked. Can the filter be removed for cleaning, if so how do you remove the filter. It is a mira excel 410.

You can remove the filter with a hook or a needle.

The internals may have seized, and if so you will need a new cartridge.
