This question is regarding Mira Excel/Select Thermostatic Cartridge - 903.33

Mira Excel THB

We have Mira Excel THB inset shower fitted. Cartridge is code green (HP) but is very hit and miss -sometime flow is OK but others it only produces a dribble when turned fully on. Is this a problem with the cartridge or could it be blocked filter? We do not know if shower is pre-2003 so do not know if replacement is 903.33 or 451.71 is there any way of telling which is correct?

Post 2003 showers have a leaver handle, see part 6 in the above.

Sounds like you have a cartridge fault whichever one you have.
