mila galena / slate front electric shower

Hi I am getting a small shock from the on/off button when I have used the shower and switch it off with wet hands. The power doesn't trip so can you help me with the part I will need. Cheers Brian Thomas

First , you need to stop using the shower.

Then you need to check the wiring in the shower and see if it is loose or damaged.

Hi on closer inspection the casing screw that attaches at the bottom end of the unit has slightly damaged one of the thin white wires which I think attaches to the switch somehow. Can this part including the wires be changed if possible or would it be safer to change the whole unit. Also where this bottom screw attaches the plastic casing is slightly cracked.

Brian I would get an electrician in it may be just a case of replacing a section of the wire or something more serious and you don't want to waste mone on a new shower when it may just be a simple repair.
