Mira Galena Not Hot Enough

Hi again. Still struggling with my issue "With the shower temperature setting on full and the heat setting on I, the water is completely cold. On setting II the water is only very slightly warm. On setting III with temperature turned up to its highest setting, the water temperature is only just warm enough for a slightly uncomfortable shower" I`ve checked the element and it`s 11.4 ohms for each which works out at around 9.2kW. I`ve checked the micro switches and they working ok. I`ve ran the shower with the cover off and have measured 230V at the element. Yet with the control on III and the temp turned to full, the water is only luke warm. I`ve got a Mira Escape in the other bathroom and with this turned up to full the water is very hot.... help please !!

The readings at the heater should be different not the same.

If you have power to the elements and no heat it's probably the elements, no power to the elements then it's probably a micro switch.

If you don’t have a multimeter we sell them at £10 each with a guide on how to use them for checking and testing the various parts of your shower.

Apart from helping to fix your shower, they are really useful for checking you have a power supply to appliances, for checking fuses, letting you know much power you have left in batteries

(so you know if they are dud or not) and lots of other jobs, in short they are well worth the money.
