Mira Galena Shower Water Flow Stops

My Galena shower has been working great for about 5 years. It has now developed a fault whereby the shower will run fine for about 3 minutes and then the water flow stops, but the start / stop LED light remains on. I have removed the inlet water filter and cleaned it (it was quite dirty) and replaced it. Problem still there! No changes in mains water pressure in the area that I am aware of. If I wait five minutes or so and switch it on again it will run for a few minutes and then stop again.

Could you advise what the most likely faulty component thats casuing this to happen would be?

It maybe your solenoid valve, you can check it if you have a multi meter, you shouldhave a reading of at least k3.5 ohms, across the two terminals any less and youneed a new valve. (Check the valve in the failed state.) (When it has stoppedworking!)

If thereis power getting to the solenoid and it is not operating then there is a goodchance that you have a faulty solenoid.
