Pulsating water jet

My Infuse shower has started to make a whistling sound, the more hotter you have it the wirse it gets and it seems to be coming from the flow control on the wall. At the same time the water flow from the shower pulsates about every second, the more hot water you add the more it pulsates. If you turn on the hot tap on the bath the pulsating and the noise goes away. I have also noticed that the hot water tank makes a bubbling sound when the shower is on. Is this all related to a pressure differential problem between hot and cold or could there be air in the system. The shower was installed some 3 years ago and have never been a problem until now.

First you need to check the filters to see if they are blocked, if not then you could have a faulty mixer valve, which would mean a new shower as  these are now obsolete.
