This question is regarding Mira Advance/Elite/Sport Inlet Saddle Clamp Bracket - 416.38

2 clamps possible?

My shower is still working fine but the back of the inlet clamp which forms part of the back plate is cracked - would 2 clamps used together align correctly to make a seal?

The cracking of the back plate at the clamp area is a common problem.

A new shower is usually needed due to the inlet pressure causing a leak or worse.
