Mira Jump 9.5 kw

Shower is about 6 years old but 2 days ago a bang occurred and it stopped working. On investigation the external switch outside the bathroom has burnt out with neutral cable melted for about 3 inches. Was this caused by a fault with the shower (someone suggested to me this could be a problem with the heater tank) or a fault with the switch

I understood you would respond within 24hrs but I have heard nothing. You don’t yet seem to have assigned query. Explanation please?

This is a free technical help service , and as such is used buy many people. There is a first come, first served response to most questions.
I try to answer as many questions as I can , but sometimes it will take more than 24hrs to do so.

I would suggest that you should get an electrician to check where the fault is, just to be safe.
