Internal leak near top of unit. Only starts leaking when shower is being used
It’s a safety device on the bottom of the heating tank.
It is fairly easy to replace however there is usually something that causes it to activate, often a kink in the hose or the shower head is blocked, so check this before fitting the new PRD.
But if the leak is at the top this cannot be the case.
There maybe water spraying from a joint or at the union between the inlet connection and the shower.
You will need to find the source before a part can be replaced.

Switch off the power, carefully dry out all the internal components fit cover turn on for 10secs. see if you can spot where the leak is coming from repeat until you have pined it down.
