How to replace the cartridge

I have a Mira Pace Mixer Shower (Exposed Valve type). I am very sure I need to replace the cartridge. How do I do that please? I am quite handy but I cannot figure out how to get the old one out, but I hope it will be a fairly simple job to do the replacement without interfering with the pipework of the whole assembly. once you have removed the handle by unscrewing the grub screws , then you can use a spanner to unscrew the cartridge.
