conversion to high pressure?

My home is fitted with a Mira Platinum shower, the digital mixer valve pumped version. At present I have a gravity fed supply but plan to replace this with a combi-boiler and thermal store which means the supply to the shower will then be at full mains pressure. I see that the maximum static pressure rating of the mixer valve pumped will be exceeded and in any case, the pump will be redundant. Is it possible to convert this mixer valve or must I replace it with a mixer valve high pressure (at some considerable expense)? Can't I just remove the pump impeller or something?

If you covert to a combi you may have enough pressure to bypass the pump altogether. Your plumber should be able to do this.
