Pump not running

I have a Mira PPT3 and Mira 88 shower system. When I turn the control knob there is nothing from the pump and only a little trickle comes out of the shower head. I have tested the power to the pump and that is OK. Can you advise what this could be, anything I can test on the pump or control knob.

The most likely fault is a faulty capacitor the white thing inside the control box, there is usually some signs of overheating melting on it if it is faulty.

The other thing may be a fault with the relay/relay pack not allowing power to the motor when the pump should be switched on.

If the pump is stalled (Humming) then one of the impellors has disintegrated and jammed the pump or the pump has seized in which case it will need replaced.
