This question is regarding Mira Elite/Sport/Sprint Relief Valve Assembly - 147.50

Hi, my shower was playing up (low pressure and turning off) plumber came round and said I had limes ale build up in the shower head and that was causing it to trip. I replaced the hose and shower head and have water flow (but still not great) but it leaks terribly from the outlet where the hose attaches. From watching your YouTube videos I think the initial problem caused an issue with the PRD but I cannot find a replacement, or see on the diagram where it is to be able to replace it?? Please help! Thank you

The Mira Advance range (ATL) doesn't have a prd

If it is leaking from where the hose joins the shower outlet then probably you haven't fitted a Mira hose, in any case if you still have your old hose and the washers then fit an extra one or two washers in to the joint if you don't have the washers you can get them below.

Thank you for your kind reply. It was replaced with a new MIRA hose by myself , and I have put in an extra washer (there are now 2 o rings) and it is still really leaking. Is there anything I can do? I really don’t want to have to replace the whole unit! It worked fine until the pressure issue due to the shower head being blocked.

There is not a PRD on this model. You may have damaged part 12 in this diagram, www.showerdoc.com/mira-advance-atl-post-2003-shower-spares
or the washer between it and the flow valve.
