replacement shower

Thanks for your previous response. Replacing the PCB seems costly esp if there's no guarantee it will resolve the issue. Having now stripped down the unit on an annual basis to descale the tank (hard water area, Reading Berks) I'm thinking I should fit a new unit. As I have a fully tiled bathroom I'd like to fit a model with minimum effort and mess. Cueently 3" from side wall, hose to the right. Please advise which model best replaces the old Sport and if it's compatible with existing plumbing and power feed? Looking into it the new Sport Thermostic 9.0 or 9.8 seems the most similar in layout. They claim these are better for hard water areas, is that so? Many thanks again for the superb help. regards. See the bottom of the above link for replacement showers. Mira recommend their new Sport. Cant comment on the hard water claims, though.
