Water not heating sufficiently on consecutive showers

Hi, I have a problem with my Mira Sport 10.8kW (post 1998 version fitted in 2003). The first shower in the morning always works fine on the High setting, producing hot water with the temperature dial set to half-way. However, subsequent showers within the next few minutes (from rest of family) do not heat the water sufficiently. Even if the temperature dial is turned to max, the heat is not sufficient for a shower. I can only get it to work if the shower is left untouched for a long period (e.g. few hours), or if I flush it through with cold water for a few minutes by turning the temperature dial to minimum with the power on Low power for 1 minute, then on Medium power for 1 min, and then High power for 1 min, before slowly turning the temperature dial up to the half-way setting.

For info, when the temperature dial is set to minimum, the flow is really strong, and when it is set to max the flow is greatly reduced.

Also, it is on its 3rd set of elements which were fitted 18 months ago, but I don't think it could be the elements this time because the heat is fine if I follow the above procedure.

Any ideas what is causing this problem? Your help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

It could be the PCB at fault, but only replacing it will prove this.
