This question is regarding Mira Sport (2012) 9.8kW Electric Shower (White/Chrome) - 1.1746.003

Good morning,

Our shower stopped working. The Low Pressure light came on. We turned the dial to Low Pressure, but no change. The low pressure light comes on when dial is at Medium or High and goes out when we turn it to Low...but still no water. Any ideas what it might be. We are wary of calling a plumber until we have an idea what the problem might be.

It may be your solenoid valve, you can check it if you have a multi meter, you should have a reading of at least k3.5 ohms, across the two terminals any less and you need a new valve. (Check the valve in the failed state.) (When it has stopped working!)

If there is power getting to the solenoid and it is not operating then there is a good chance that you have a faulty solenoid.
