This question is regarding Mira Sport - post 1998 - Shower Spares

mira sport 9kw shower

when i press the start button the flow light flashes on and then goes out and water comes on for 2 seconds,but if i hold the start button in the shower works. i wonder if this is a faulty solenoid coil

Not the solenoid valve but the latching switch which usually fails because of a leak in the flow valve assembly so would recommend fitting a complete new flow valve which comes with the latcing switch, it can be ordered online by clicking on the link below.
