Nothing, not even lights!

I’ve renewed the isolation switch as the pull cord was snapped anyway.
No difference, so I checked for 240v at the shower, that is ok.
But shower is dead. The push off button had stopped working recently.
We did have to use the isolator to turn it off.
Might that have damaged the circuit board?

It may be your solenoid valve, you can check it if you have a multi meter, you should have a reading of at least k3.5 ohms, across the two terminals any less and you need a new valve. (Check the valve in the failed state.) (When it has stopped working!)
If there is power getting to the solenoid and it is not operating then there is a good chance that you have a faulty solenoid.

The video is intended as a guide and does not cover every shower.
If you don’t have a multimeter we sell them with a guide on how to use them for checking and testing the various parts of your shower.
Apart from helping to fix your shower, they are really useful for checking you have a power supply to appliances, for checking fuses and letting you know much power you have left in batteries
(So you will know if they are good or not) and lots of other jobs, in short they are well worth a few pounds

I’ve replaced a number of parts over the years, but never had it not even lighting up the lights, Is this an obvious symptom?

Art you testing the power with a meter or a neon screwdriver?
If you are using a meter it is possible that you will get a 240 reading but if you then turn the shower on it will drop off which will tend to point to a faulty neutral. (Usually in the isolation switch)
When you turn the shower on does the neon in the switch stay on?

No lights on the shower come on, the shower appears dead. Nothing at all. I tested and got 240v with a meter coming into the shower connector block. The isolator is brand new with no signs of over heating or corrosion on the old one. This happened literally overnight, showered the day before with no issue, dead the following day!

It’s been excellent, mended a couple of times, usually low flow indicator.
