Mira Sport 9.0 Cycles between hot and cold

Our Mira Sport 9.0 kW shower is 26 months old and has recently started to cycle between hot and cold, making a noise like a boiling kettle as it heats up and then cutting out. The periods between going hot and cold are typically about 20-30 seconds and whereas we have always been able to use it comfortably on the 'High' setting previously, the hot water it produces is too hot. At the same time the temperature control knob has started to click when it is turned, whereas previously its operation was smooth. I have replaed the TCO and the Flow Valve assembly but the fault remains. Both elements in the Heater Tank passed the resistence test as shown in one of your excellent videos. I have checked the filter is not blocked and also know that the water pressure in the supply to the house has not changed, so am at a loss as to what the problem is caused by and therefore how to solve it. Can you help?

The problem is that the front cover internals are out of sync with the flow valve.

You can test this by removing the front cover and adjusting the flow valve without it on.

If you set the flow valve spindle to a 12 o`clock position before making adjustments it will make things easier.
