This question is regarding Mira Azora/Sprint/Sport/Zest Thermal Cut-out (TCO) - 416.41

If this was faulty would it cause the breaker to trip in fuse box, I have just replaced the heater because I assumed that this was faulty, but after replacement the shower worked fine for a couple of days but has now started tripping the breaker after 4 or 5 minutes.

The tco is unlikely to be the cause of a breaker tripping. Check that the ceiling / wall switch is not the cause.
