This question is regarding Mira Sport Thermal Switch - 1746.436

Mira Sport

I have a shower that runs fine for about 3 minutes and then cuts out and trips the RCD. I have ordered from you and replaced today the Thermal Switch and the unit is still doing the same. I think it is an overheating issue as I have to wait a minute or so to get the trip switch to stay back up. The unit is about 3-4 years old, any advice gratefully received. Thank you.

From your description it sounds more like a faulty solenoid see below for how to check.
