Mira Sprint Outer Cover

Hiya There is a small gap between the outer casing and the casing screwed to the wall along the left vertical side (poor fit). Also we notice the thin plastic along the TOP of the casing screwed to the wall is cracked and has a small square hole where the plastic has clearly broken off. It has been like this for a good time. We first had the shower installed by a plumber in September 2007. Does the above present a safety hazard would you say? Many thanks for your time. Jerry Chance

Without seeing the shower I cannot say , but any damage to the rear casing or potential for water to enter the shower should mean replacing it in my opinion.
