Mira Supreme 7.2

The flow regulator assembly has seized and needs replacing. The original has a brass metal spindle. Which option would directly replace it .28 .29 or .30. I would also need a new control knob as the fitting is different.

Is the 857.28 a like for like replacement? Or for minimal disturbance, would it be possible to leave the original through fitting in place and just replace the inner valve where it is screwed on with the four screws. The control knob I would require would be to fit the new assembly. The original knob is approx 47mm diameter and fits partly recessed into the outer case of the original shower.

The control knob is no longer available. There maybe a difference inside the flow valve that is incompatible with the other parts of your shower , so you may need a replacement shower.
