Mira Escape fluctuating temperature.

Mira Escape fluctuating between normal temp set, to cooler temp, although not yet freezing cold or roosting hot. The power neon light is on, but the flow neon is not, (so doesn't seem to have a water flow problem or nor hear that cut out and subsequent element noise when you do get a flow problem when that light comes on). According to the book this is a thermostatic mechanism fault. Just want to confirm that this is the Thermal Switch that needs replacing before ordering? Checked spare part for Thermal Switch for Escape 9.8kw and says this 416.41 switch. Thanks. Helen

Turn the shower temperature control from fully cold to fully hot. When you do this slowly there should be a gradual change in temperature and flow. At fully hot you should have not much more than a dribble coming from the hose, and on fully cold you should have a good strong flow. If you do not have this difference, or the flow or temperature is erratic,  then you may have a faulty flow/stabilizer valve.
