TCS Failure and Heater Tank Corrosion
Great site and thanks for useful tips about diagnosis of a faulty thermal switch.
Our shower only produces cold water and in line with your instructions I have proven the TCS to be faulty.
However, before I go ahead a buy just the TCS I wanted to ask if the corrosion which was present on the switch and on the top of the Heater Tank is to be expected for a shower of about 8 years old (model is Mira Sport 10.8 KW).
I've attached some images of the Heater Tank and switch base and would be grateful for any advice.
Thanks
Neil
This is a common problem in some areas and once cleaned off it should not affect the TCO.
