Shower Doctor came up with an efficient and economical service. In 36 hours the part was fitted and working. It is a bit tricky to fit the thermal switch because of the restricted space; the water tank needs to be loosened in order to get the switch out and then back in. You need a Torx screwdriver for several of the screws, don't start the job until you have one. Take care not to damage the brittle plastic shower casing and then ensure that it is all sealed correctly and watertight.
