This question is regarding Mira Vigour Manual Power Shower (White/Chrome) - 1.1532.354

Compare to Mira event xs

How does this shower rate alongside the Mira event xs manual? We need to replace our Mira Event after 10 years but the prices quoted seem at least 80 quid more than for a Vigour. Would the Vigour be a poor substitute or not? Why is it so much cheaper? What is your view please?

They are much the same internally, however the Vigor has cheaper plastics cheaper fittings (Head rail etc.) The performance will be much the same however I would expect the Event to last longer.
