Shower will not turn off

When i turn the knob to the off position on the shower the pump ceases to run but water still dribbles out the head continuously. Only will the water stop when i kill all the power to the shower.

If when you switch off the shower at the main isolator and the shower keeps running then you have a faulty solenoid valve.

When you switch off the shower at the main isolator and the water stops running, then you have a faulty on/off switch or a faulty PCB or a micro switch that is sticking on.

It turns off when i switch it off at the main isolater...how do i check either the on/off switch, PCB or micro switch or am i just as well getting a new shower!

To check the pcb and potentiometer you would need to replace them.

It is cheaper to replace the , www.showerdoc.com/mira-solenoid-valve-assembly-spare-453-13 , than a new shower.
