This question is regarding Mira Zest - Post 2003 - Shower Spares

heating up time for Mira zest 8.5kw

the shower is taking several minutes to heat up and runs cold until then. Any idea what the problem is? Many thanks

It sounds like you have a flow problem to the shower unit or faulty flow valve.

Check the stop tap to the shower is fully open.
Check the filter on the inlet is not blocked or has debris in it
check for leaks inside the shower
check wire terminals are ok

If these are all checked ok then it sounds like the flow valve is at fault.
