Replacing MX Inspiration LX

I need to replace my shower (I've fixed it many times and replaced various bits, but it's broken again and the cover is disintegrating). It's plumbed/wired from the top left. Your recommended replacement (G9000s) is 9.5kw, but my wiring will only support 8.5kw my electrician tells me. What options are there that would involve the least redrilling/rewiring/replumbing please?
