Neptune Exotic A97900153 Stopped Working - Help!
I have a Neptune Exotic A97900153 (exactly as the diagram above). When the on/off switch is pressed nothing at all happens. I've checked the circuit breakers, they are all fine. The mains switch mounted to the ceiling is fine (the cord pull switch). I have a mains power tester (the pen that lights up when held to mains). It would appear that every component is getting power in the shower, ive held it against each live cable and it lights up. So I'm at a bit of a loss - could the on/off switch be faulty? If so I can't see it in the list of spares, thanks for taking the time to read this and I hope someone can help us! (we are starting to get a bit smelly)
You need to check that you are getting 230-240v into the shower. One of these pens will not tell you this. If you are getting this amouit of power into the shower , then,
It may be your solenoid valve, you can check it if you have a multi meter, you should have a reading of at least k3.5 ohms, across the two terminals any less and you need a new valve. (Check the valve in the failed state.) (When it has stopped working!)
If there is power getting to the solenoid and it is not operating then there is a good chance that you have a faulty solenoid.
