NEW TEAM SHOWER 100 SERIES WITH GOLD FITTING

I AM FINDING IT MORE AND MORE DIFFICULT AS I GET OLDER TO TURN ON AND OFF THE SHOWER - THE HEAD IS VERY BULKY I CANNOT GET MY HAND AROUND IT PROPERLY. THE LITTLE BLACK LEVER ATTACHED IS VERY STIFF WHEN TRYING TO TURN ON AND OFF. WHAT DO YOU SUGGEST I HAVE HAD MY SHOWER FOR OVER 10 YEAR AND IT STILL LOOKS GOOD AND AM OTHERWISE HAPPY WITH IT

You may need a new cartridge to fix this issue.
