New Team 100 Power Shower fault

The shower has stopped working. The electricity supply from the mains is OK. When turned on only unpressured cold water flows.

What islikely cause and can this be fixed with a replacement part please.

The shower was first installed in 1997

The fault could be with the magnet and reed switch assembly which is mounted on the front of the valve that is faulty .....Unfortunately these parts are now obsolete.

The other possibility is that the motor and pump unit has failed, on such an old shower it is probably not worth replacing, however it could be worth fitting a new set of brushes

This unit is pretty much a direct replacement.
