pump fitting guide

I recently bought a replacement pump for my NT 1000 but the wires and connectors are different to the pump fitted as the fitted one is quite old. Is there a fitting guide or instructions anywhere? The old pump has 1 x green(earth?) wire and 2 x black wires. The new pump has the green/yellow earth, a blue neutral wire, a black wire and the connectors are also bigger than the old pump.

Any help will be appreciated.

As you say the green yellow wire is the earth, it is not important which way round the blue and black wires go  however the length will naturally dictate which is the best option.

Over the years NT has changed the circuit board design on a number of occasions

The spades are the most common however there also screw on connectors which will involve you  cutting the spades off and baring a little of the wire so you can fit them into the connectors, there also a pin type connector, you can fit female connectors to the end of the wire or probably easier is just to leave a short section of the existing wire on and join the wires with a connector strip.
