Fitting the solenoid - NewTeam PowerShower 1500xt

Thank you for your earlier advice. I took the solenoid reading with the multimeter. First check came as 3.5 when the shower was off. I then put the shower on and after four minutes the shower stopped working at which point I took a reading and there was no reading, it was zero.

From your advice it would appear that the solenoid may need to be replaced. If this is the case and I need to replace the solenoid, is this a simple task? I would be grateful for your advice if I may need any particular tool to remove the old and replace the new? Please instruct what tool is required. Thank you.
