This question is regarding NewTeam 500 / 575 / Roma / Elite (2) Pump Spares

type 550

I have a type 550 pump that is now pumping more water into the loft than out of the shower head so am looking for a replacement. can you suggest the one I need.

Unfortunately that particular pump is not made now ans Stuart turner don't make a similar pump with the inlets and outlets at the one side. 

This means which ever pump you decide to go with will need pipe alterations for it to fit in place of you old one.
