New team 7.8 won't switch off!

I have had my new team 7.8 shower for 5/6 years with no problems. Today, after taking a shower, it would not turn off when I turned the power control to off. I had to pull the chord to stop it.



Even now, 13 hours later, when I pull the chord it is still running- even though the power control is set to "off".



What is wrong and what can be done to repair it?

Would suspect the pcb/solenoid valve has failed , replacement can be ordered online by clicking on the link below.
