When I turn the shower on, it doesn't start if the knob is turned just to the cold or the medium setting. It has to be turned almost to the hot setting before it will start.

The knob may be split inside and not turning the cam or there is a fault with the www.showerdoc.com/newteam-camshaft-plate-sp-092-1025
