901/902t Cartridge and Knob SP-000180010-002

Please can you tell me if this part is easy to fit and what tools are necessary for the task? Do I need to turn off the water supply? Thank you Helen

Yes you do need to turn the water off see ticket 16946

Yes you do have to turn off the water supply. Remove the grub screw located under the right hand side off the unit. Be careful not to drop the screw into the trap,cover it before you start. Pull out the old cartridge, it will be slightly stiff.When replacing the New Cartridge, give it a hard push making sure you line up the hole in the cartridge with the grub screw hole. Replace the grub screw, then turn the water supply back on, job done.
