This question is regarding NewTeam 901/902 Thermostatic Cartridge & Knob - 000180010-002

Shower force T901/902

I have removed the grub screw holding the the cartridge in place but the old one won't budge. What am I doing wrong? Is the water switched off from the shower by the on/off knob or do I have to turn the water off by the mains? Is this why it won't easily pull out like it should?

You need to turn the hot and cold supplies off before removing the cartridge. The cartridge is only held in by "O" rings once the grub screw is removed.
