968 VALVE

I have been asked to look at a 968 shower that has a poor flow,do you have any idea what could cause such a thing.

Check the head, hose and that there is a good flow of water to the shower with the cartridge out.If all is fine then,

with the Sirrus 1800 series that in almost every occasion thefirst thing to do is give them a strip down clean and lube and fit a servicekit, this will cure 85% of any problems and it is also the cheapest thing todo.

If after servicing you find out that it needs a thermostat or piston,nothing is really lost because it almost certainly needed a service in anycase.

There is no real difficulty with this valve however it is a littlemore complicated than the 1500 just take photos as you strip it down you canthen refer to them when you are rebuilding.
