Jetforce 75 (mk7)

Hi, my shower pump intermits (on and off) when it's been on for approx 2 mins but when I turn the temperature right up it stops and the water comes through with much more pressure but is way too hot to shower under. When I turn the temperature down it intermits again. On the upstairs shower, powered by the same pump there are no problems. It's 8 years old

Does anyone have a solution?

Youdon’t mention which type of shower you have , however I think the first thingto do is to check the inlet filters on the shower and on the pump if they havebeen fitted.

If these are OK and the problem doesn’tresolve itself get back to us then

Hi, now this may sound daft, but bear with me! We had the same problem years ago, and the NewTeam service guy came and recognised the problem as commonplace: The shower hose seals can fail, allowing pressurised water to get between the inner and outer skins of the shower hose, interrupting proper flow and the pump intermits cos the flow is interrupted. Changed the shower hose (£5) and hey presto, been fine ever since. Same problem with other shower on same pump, fixed the same way some years later. Hope this helps!!
