Jetforce 75 (mk7) screeching noise

The Jetforce 75 installed 3 years ago beneath the bath powers water flow to a mixer tap over the bath and a Grohe thermostatic mixer shower. After an 8week holiday in the UK, during which the house was unoccupied, the pump now runs normally when water is drawn but after about 10 seconds a loud screeching noise starts. Water flow continues OK in spite of the noise. Turning off then on again produces same result but quicker - noise restarts straight away. Motor casing feels quite hot but I don't know how warm it woud be normally.

It sounds like your pump either has something stuck in one of the impellers or the motor is seizing.
