Slow to switch on

When I switch on the shower the pump is slow to switch on.

Is this likely to be a faulty flow sensor

I don’t think it is the sensor as this is just an on/offswitch it may be that the actuator is slow to lift (The torpedo like thing inpart 4)

 

What could cause this is a blocked filter in the shower notallowing a full flow of water through when the shower valve is open and it justtaking a few seconds to build up the flow
