Triton Power Shower Thermostatic

When the shower is turned on only a faint hum can be heard rather than the normal power noise and water comes out under gravity, not the normal pressure. What would cause this?

If there is water coming out then it is not the solenoid.

 

It sounds like the pump is not pumping this could mean thatthe motor is needing a new set of brushes or you need a new motor and pumpunit.
