This question is regarding Stuart Turner Positive Head, Reed & PCB Kit - 19625"

Monsoon 3 bar twin.

This shower pump will not start up when water flows unless you give a good tap on the valve area. However once started by this method the pump continues to run when the shower valve is closed. the only way to stop it is to switch it off at the power socket. once stopped by switching off, I can switch the power on again straight away and the pump stays off. Do I need a new Reed & PCB kit ( part No. 19625) or is it more likely to be something else?
