water dripping from plastic nut.

had small dripping for some time now from power unit, put shower on and water came out of shower head at very high pressure and i was unable to control heat. water now dripping from black plastic nut, its still tight.

The High pressure at the shower head and the inability to control the temperature sounds like a faulty flow valve.

The drip at the inlet connector may just need tightening or a new inlet connector, it is also possible that there is a leak from the flow valve dripping down on to the inlet connector.
