This question is regarding Redring Cylinder O-Ring Ø60.0 X 2.62mm - 93795809

Redring plus extra 7.2 kw cylinder leak

Shower is leaking from the bottom of the cylinder, with drips forming on the left and right edges where the clip secures the cylinder to the shower casing. The leak is not coming from the outlet or relief valve. Is this likely to be the o ring that has failed . ? Thanks

Yes it sounds like the "O" ring is faulty or the tank base is warped / damaged.
